Historical Background
Noah's Ark Home for Children was established on the request of the Department of Social Welfare and Development of the Philippine government to address the situation and needs of the Ifugao people. Within the Ifugao Province there were many children who were malnourished or neglected. There were no agencies within the local government or NGO's who could help these children. As a result some children were actually dying of malnutrion and neglect. Thus the 3 founders decided that they would find a way to help the Ifugao people. Thus Noah's Ark Home was established
After four years of operation The Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada took the project under their organization. It was registered with the Securities Exchange Commission in 1996.
After renting in a couple of homes they were able to build their own home in 2003 and is located in Viewpoint, Banaue, Ifugao.
Since the establishment of the Home there have been more than 200 children who have lived in the Home.Of these more than 40 children have graduated from College or University
